An interesting site dedicated to Sankey Diagrams posted a nice article on our History of Political Parties and our civil war graphics. I highly recommend visiting this site to learn more about sankey diagrams.

From wikipedia …“Sankey diagrams are a specific type of flow diagram, in which the width of the arrows is shown proportionally to the flow quantity. They are typically used to visualize energy or material transfers between processes.”

The Genealogy of Pop/Rock Music was recently mentioned in a few blogs including:

NOTCOT.org, a design community site that accepts examples of all facets of design. “NOTCOT.org was launched May 2006 to fill our need for a place to collect and share fascinating images/links.”

PagePlane.com Blog, “Innovative and interesting examples of graphic design, web design, illustration, typography, and marketing from designer Chuck Green”

Both sites are well worth a visit.
